Brave Traffic Police Earns Praises For Risking His Safety to Remove Huge Snake Off The Road Without Any Equipment

As Malaysians, we are fortunate enough to have plenty of natural reserves around us.

However, with the blessings of nature comes the occasional risk of danger, as chance encounters with wild animals are not uncommon in these areas.

These encounters can sometimes even end up in injury and death, highlighting the need for trained professionals to handle these situations.

Thankfully, our public officers are well-prepared for the handling of wild animals, as was shown in a recent video shared by the Pontian police. 

In the video, a traffic cop is seen dragging a huge snake off a main road and into the forest area nearby, to ensure the safety of road users, especially motorcyclists.

The video was posted on the Pontian police's Facebook page, where they wrote, "The safety of road users is always prioritized, especially during this festive season." 

They praised the two officers involved, Corporal Hirrul Fitri and Corporal Basri from the Federal Traffic Investigation and Enforcement (BSPTD), for their quick thinking and bravery in handling the situation.

Fortunately, the traffic officer was unharmed as the snake didn't react as it was being dragged away from its spot. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of having well-trained professionals to handle such situations, and we are grateful for the bravery of these officers in keeping our roads safe.
