This is to encourage more people to plant more trees.
Deputy Government Spokeswoman Ratchada Thanadirek said, “The policy of the Business Development Department has led the rural community and the company about the benefits of planting valuable trees.
“It also falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Commerce and makes more and more residents show interest in politics,” she said.
The tree is also a part of Thai Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha’s idea to improve green areas in Thailand. The new policy also makes it easier for villagers to take out bank loans.
As of May 20th, a total of 146,000 trees have been registered as guarantees for loans worth RM17 million. Amazing!
