The KL Selangor Lelong Properties Facebook page recently shared an intriguing story of how they went the extra mile to assure potential buyers that a property in Klang, which had a previous owner who tragically took their own life, is not haunted. They enlisted the help of a "paranormal research team" to investigate the property and provide reassurance to prospective buyers.
In a light-hearted manner, the post stated, "This bank put in much effort to clear the matter. Certified by 'ghostbusters' already."
According to Muhammad Ishaq, the previous owner of the house was involved in the logistics business and tragically took their life during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
After conducting thorough investigations, the Malaysian paranormal activity research team, commissioned by KL Selangor Lelong Properties, released a letter adorned with the Ghostbusters logo, stating that the property is, indeed, not haunted.
The letter stated, "Notwithstanding several reports, we could not find any paranormal activity in this compound."
Furthermore, the team provided explanations for the observed phenomena within the house. They suggested that flickering lights may be caused by faulty cables, doors opening and closing might be attributed to wind currents, and eerie sounds could simply be wild animals.
To further alleviate concerns, they proposed setting up a small laboratory at the location and extending the observation period to 15 days for more in-depth investigations.
