Your body is lined with a network of fluid-filled cavities that—until now—were unknown to science.

According to Live Science, scientists revealed that they have recently discovered a cavity that could be considered a new human organ, which they have named the “interstitium.”
The organ was discovered when scientists were examining live human tissues using a new imaging technique. In their report, they stated that previous techniques have primarily examined tissue that is dead and drained of fluid, making the cavity invisible.

If other researchers concur that the interstitium is, in fact, a newly identified organ, then anatomy textbooks may require revision.
Wah, that’s so cool!
