A petrol station attendant has received widespread praise for his quick-thinking and bravery in averting a potential disaster after a motorcycle caught fire at his station.

The incident, captured in a video shared by @bhpetroljalanmawai, shows a motorcyclist struggling to start his bike at the side of the station. Unfortunately, the motorcycle failed to start, instead bursting into flames. Amidst the panic of the rider and his family, a petrol station staff member, Azri, swiftly sprang into action.
Without hesitation, Azri rushed towards the flaming motorcycle with a fire extinguisher in hand and quickly doused the fire, preventing what could have been a catastrophic explosion.
At the end of the video, Azri is seen receiving an envelope containing a cash reward for his heroic actions.
The video has since gone viral, with social media users praising Azri’s prompt response and courage. Netizens have hailed him as a true hero, acknowledging how his quick actions saved both lives and property.
