As of this morning (July 5th) at 2 am, 334 victims from nine villages have been relocated to several flood relief centers (PPS) due to the floods in Baling, Kedah.
Baling District police chief Supt Shamsudin Mamat said the floods, since 4 pm yesterday (July 4th), had so far affected 85 houses. A school in that area, Sekolah Menengah Agama Yayasan Al-Khariah was also impacted by the flood, he said, however, the water had subsided.

Meanwhile, the evacuation process went smoothly with the involvement of several agencies.
He added that the state-level National Security Council (MKN) would have a meeting today to decide to further action involving assistance to the flood victims and the search and rescue operation for the missing victims.
