A man was recently caught on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) “having fun” by pressing every button on a lift making the lift stop at every level for no reason

After everyone had entered the lift, a man wearing a black hoodie is then seen pressing all the buttons in the lift and was even unfazed by the presence of CCTV. He even looked straight into the CCTV and posed, showing a peace sign to the camera.
The video quickly went viral online with many condemning the man’s actions, saying how his behaviour is a reflection of who he is as a person.
“This is why Civics education is actually important, so future generations don’t act like this,” one person commented.
“I experienced this when I used to live in an apartment. My house was at level 5 but it took so long to get to the other level because of people like him.”

The video has since garnered over 1.1 million views on Twitter at the time of writing.
Guys, please don’t do this especially in a residential area! What if there’s an emergency and someone needs to get to their car, or to the hospital?
Pressing all the buttons on a lift not only wastes a lot of unnecessary energy, but it also wastes time of the other people who get onto or have to wait for that lift. For these reasons, it is a pretty inconsiderate thing to do!
