He lost around 125 iPhones from the robbery which is worth around $95,000 or RM417,715. Oh no, that is a lot of money!
According to a statement from the NYPD, the 27-year-old man frequently purchases large quantities of iPhones from the Fifth Avenue store which he then resell through his small business. However, the reason why he purchased the items in the dead of night is still unknown.
Police said that two men got out of a car that had pulled up next to the victim as he was walking with his three bags filled with iPhones and demanded that he hand over the items. When he resisted, the robbers punched him in the face and were able to steal one of the bags.
Police believe that the robbers may have been watching him for some time due to his purchasing patterns, but the case is still under investigation and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
That is so scary! We’re glad that the man is not hurt, though.
