There are many risks attached to borrowing from loan sharks - for example, you pay far more in interest than you would through any legal borrowing and you WILL be harassed or threatened if you get behind with your repayments.

Last week, a man was caught on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) trying to smash an ATM at a bank in Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.
On October 24th, the Wangsa Maju district police headquarters’ Criminal Investigation Division received a public call about burn marks on an ATM that were believed to have been caused by an attempt to break the machine.
CCTV footage revealed that a man had attempted to break the ATM by igniting it with two fuel canisters.
The suspect, a 25-year-old man was apprehended at 12:45 am on Wednesday (26 October). The police also seized the suspect’s clothing from the incident, as well as the fuel canisters and his car.
According to Kosmo, the Wangsa Maju district police chief Supt. Ashari Abu Samah said: “Further investigation revealed that the suspect decided to act in this manner because he was desperate to pay off his loans quickly because he owed a lot of money to an Ah Long.”

Guys, there is absolutely no good reason for you to be borrowing from a loan shark!
They are illegal lenders who often target people who need money and can’t access it from legal sources. They might seem friendly at first, but borrowing from them is never a good idea, even if you feel you have no other options!
Please be safe!
