In a recent social media update, KPKT addressed the burning question: Why Cameron Highlands? And how does it contribute to happiness?

"The key to the residents' contentment lies in the excellent services provided by local authorities (PBT), including top-notch environmental hygiene, efficient waste management, and consistent garbage collection," the ministry revealed.

But if Cameron Highlands doesn't quite tickle your fancy, fear not. According to KPKT's findings, there's another gem waiting to be discovered: Jeli, a quaint town nestled in Kelantan, ranked as the second happiest spot in Malaysia for the year 2024.

This happiness ranking, meticulously compiled by PLANMalaysia, takes into account various factors such as environmental quality, community leadership, local authority services, infrastructure development, job satisfaction, community cohesion, and stress levels.’
