However, the condition that adult tourists must be fully vaccinated will remain and must be complied with.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says they decided on this after taking into consideration the low numbers of confirmed cases so far.
To date, only 0.4% of over 54,341 tourists entering the island have tested positive.
Also, no COVID-19 clusters have been detected from the travel bubble in Langkawi.
So far, only one traveler experienced symptoms in Langkawi and tested positive for COVID-19, although investigations later found that the cause of the infection was not on the island.
Travellers, however, are still advised to self-test before embarking on their journey.
The government and frontliners have done their utmost best to control the spread of the coronavirus.
The onus is now on you to keep your loved ones safe against COVID-19.
So if you’ve decided to travel, remember to always adhere to the SOPs.
