When it comes to festive seasons and long weekend holidays, we all know that traffic on the PLUS (North-South) Highway is bound to be bad. If you are a frequent driver on the PLUS Highway, we're sure you are familiar with the traffic jam hotspots.

Bur for those of you who don’t travel out of the Klang Valley much, we have put together a list of traffic hot spots along the PLUS Highway and the alternative roads you can take if there is an unusual traffic jam.

Northern Regions:

The alternative road for this is to exit at the Behrang toll plaza to get on to Jalan Slim River if you are heading northbound. This inner road will take you to either the Slim River Toll Plaza exit or the Sungkai Toll Plaza further up.

Hotspot No. 2: Between Bidor and Gopeng

Hotspot No. 3: Between Ipoh and Sungai Perak
