Paying for traffic summonses has been made much easier!
Through the newly-launched MyBayar Saman app and portal, the public can now directly pay their traffic summonses online instead of waiting in long queues at payment counters.
Not only that, those who pay via the app or portal will be offered discounts of up to 50% on selected summonses until April 11th.

The offer does not apply to major traffic offences such as jumping the red light, speeding, overtaking on double lines, using the phone while driving, and driving on the emergency lane.
Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said the online payment method was expected to be well-received as the pandemic had prompted many to opt for cashless payments.
And he was right! According to The Star, the MyBayar Saman app crashed today (March 26th) due to heavy user traffic, a day after it was launched.
He added that no service charge would be imposed when making payments through the app.
The MyBayar Saman portal can be accessed via the PDRM website or https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my, while the mobile app can be downloaded from either Google Playstore or Apple App Store.
