UiTM previously postponed its 92nd convocation ceremony at all their campuses nationwide, which was scheduled in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, UiTM is embracing the new normal and has introduced a new way for students to still have a memorable graduation, by awarding the diplomas and degrees by appointment to ensure the health and safety of the graduates, parents, and everyone involved.

In a statement released by the University, its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Datuk Mohd Azraai Kassim said that the measure taken is because of the sudden rise in COVID-19 cases: “The initiative introduced takes into account various aspects related to 4K and in accordance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Ministry of Health, the National Security Council and Ministry of Higher Education.”
Students can set an appointment to “graduate” from 7 November until 9 January next year, from 8 am to 5 pm.
The convocation will be held at UiTM Shah Alam and UiTM’s branch campuses based on the selection of the nearest campus by the graduates, regardless of their place of study.
Graduates will still have the opportunity to put on their convocation robes, take pictures as well as receive scrolls and transcripts much like the conventional convocations.
Congratulations, guys!
