Yesterday’s (March 3rd) tragic incident along the Sungai Besi–Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) near Desa Tun Razak, Cheras, may have been caused by an individual who was under the influence of drugs.
According to the Malay Mail, the trailer driver who was responsible for the fatal SUKE flyover incident has tested positive for methamphetamine.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department chief Assistant Commissioner Zulkefly Yahya said a urine test from the driver returned positive for the drug.

Highway concessionaire Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) confirmed that the overloaded trailer crashed into the scaffolding at the SUKE construction site.
This caused a bridge under construction along the site to collapse onto a van, trapping five people inside the vehicle.
Police later that night confirmed that two women died, while the van driver and two other women escaped with serious injuries.
The incident, which occurred at around 6:30pm, obstructed two out of the three lanes, causing a
massive crawl from Pandan Indah and the Awan Besar Toll towards Desa Tun Razak.
