Though the authorities have done everything they can to keep sick people out of the country, there are also people working tirelessly behind the scenes at the airport, cleaning escalator handrails, luggage trolleys and handles so that potential viruses do not get transferred to travelers.
According to Free Malaysia Today, the airport is not the safest place to be at the moment as there are people from all over the world travelling in and out of the country, especially from China.
On Malaysia Airports’ Instagram (malaysiaairports) page, they posted pictures of hard-working cleaners wiping any touched surfaces like trolleys and handles which could help travelers from contracting the viruses.

People were touched and praised the workers for their effort and struggle to keep travelers from being infected, while putting their own health at risk.
Visitors and travelers are also advised to put on their facemask and keep their hands clean by washing it with soap and using alcohol-based sanitizers to minimize the risk of getting infected.
Let’s take time to say thanks to our unsung heroes, the individuals that work hard to keep us all safe and healthy!
