The CMCO Will Be Tightened If Malaysians Fail To Follow The SOPs

We are now in the conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), where we are allowed to go back to work, resume our normal lives, and businesses are re-opened, with strict measures in place, of course.

Despite the relaxations, we are still in the Movement Control Order (MCO) phase, where Malaysians shouldn’t take it lightly and must still follow the necessary SOPs that have been implemented by the government.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri in his daily press conference said that netizens must not take the CMCO for granted, “If the people do not comply with the SOP, the CMCO might be tightened again and we will return to the MCO phase 1, 2 or 3”.

He also added that we should still follow the SOPs and maintain social distancing if you have to leave the house. The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers can take legal action against those who refuse to follow these SOPs.

So, please remember guys, though we are allowed to go out, this doesn’t mean that we can go out whenever we want and do whatever we want.

Only go out when it is necessary. Stay at home and stay safe!
