Calling all cat lovers! These furry friends are in urgent need of a home!
Stray cats at the National Museum may end up in the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) pound if they are not adopted soon.

According to the Malay Mail, a volunteer guide, Caroline said that 13 cats have been adopted so far, while 11 more are still in need of a forever home. All of the cats have been neutered and cleaned, and are ready to be adopted.
It started a few weeks back when Caroline noticed DBKL inspecting the premises, so she and her husband immediately rescued most of the cats and brought them to their home.
A few weeks after the incident, she saw DBKL trucks arriving at the museum compound – even though she told the officers that all the cats were hers, they proceeded in capturing three of the strays anyway.
She was later able to “bail” them out from the DBKL compound.
Since the last visit from DBKL, Caroline has managed to negotiate with the authorities to allow her more time to find adopters for the stray cats.
She added that the cats deserve a loving home – and because the DBKL compound is no place for any animal because of its allegedly terrible conditions.
News spread quickly and her pleas went viral on social media platforms, alleging that the cats are at risk of being euthanized if not adopted.
