Ivan who is 20-years-old and his brother, Eugene Chong who is 19, both scored high in their pre-university examinations and have been placed in the top 4% in the world.
Both students are from Sunway College, Johor Bahru.
According to The Star, they both achieved incredible results in their Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme.
Ivan received an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 96.7 in 2018, which saw him placed in the top 3.3% when compared with other students around the world.
His brother Eugene, however, managed to outdo him, receiving an ATAR score of 99.10 which places him at the top 0.9% in the world.
Super impressive, right?
“There is no cut to good results, you have to be consistent and start revising every day from the beginning of the semester. I am so grateful my lecturers were always available when I needed them” Eugene said.
AUSMAT is a one-year programme which is widely accepted for university admission worldwide for its high standards and quality of its curriculum.
Wow! Congratulations, boys.
