If you own a vehicle with a noisy engine, you might wanna start checking your surroundings before you start it - some of your neighbours may not be too happy about it and take some drastic measures to stop the noise!
A senior citizen in Iskandar Puteri, Johor was arrested yesterday (February 17th), after he shot his neighbour’s noisy car as it was passing by with a home-made air gun!

Police had received a report from another resident in the area, before raiding the suspect’s house and seizing two home-made air guns and three marbles.
“The victim was earlier driving around Taman Ulu Choh and was heading towards Jalan Senduduk when he felt a round hit his car, which subsequently left behind a dent. The victim suspected that the shot had come from one of the houses in the residential area,” said Iskandar Puteri police chief Assistant Commissioner Dzulkhairi Mukhtar.
It’s understood that the 63-year-old suspect, who also has a previous criminal offence, learned how to make the air guns from watching YouTube tutorials.
Investigations also found that the suspect was angry with the victim, as the latter’s car purportedly makes loud noises that disturb the peace.
The case is being investigated under Section 36 of the Arms Act 1960 for possession of imitation firearms which carries a one-year prison term, or a maximum RM50,000 fine, or both, if convicted.
Whoa, intense!
So don’t do anything to upset your neighbours, guys! You’ll never know who’s learning what from YouTube tutorials!
