Let’s admit it, we've all been through this - and then you're forced to stick your hand out your car window and shamefully ask the cars behind you to reverse.

Prior to this, RFID was already available on most major highways, except for PLUS. The good news now is, that we can FINALLY use RFID at these 10 designated toll plazas on PLUS-operated highways!

  1. Jitra (North-South Expressway)
  2. Lunas (Butterworth-Kulim Expressway)
  3. Kubang Semang (Butterworth-Kulim Expressway)
  4. Penang Bridge
  5. Mambau (Seremban-Port Dickson Highway)
  6. Lukut (Seremban-Port Dickson Highway)
  7. Kampas (North-South Expressway)
  8. Perling (Linkedua Highway)
  9. Lima Kedai (Linkedua Highway)
  10. Tanjung Kupang (Linkedua Highway)

The Touch ‘n Go RFID toll payment system will be offered to Class 1 private vehicles, you know, those light vehicles with 2 axles and 3 or 4 wheels, basically a car lah – but taxis do not count.

Also, if you still prefer to use SmartTAG or your Touch ‘n Go cards, those options will still be available on PLUS highways.

Hopefully when everyone starts using the RFID stickers, we could expect smoother traffic flow on toll lanes! You can get your car fitted with the RFID stickers at the 130 fitment centres provided by Touch ‘n Go. The full list of the RFID Fitment Centres is available here.

Always check and make sure that your Touch ‘n Go eWallets have enough balance okay? Download their app so can check anytime before you go out. Easy kan!
