Have you registered with the Gerak Malaysia app yet?

Since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented, many Malaysians have found themselves stranded in another state and were unable to return home due to the restrictions of the MCO.
Now that the MCO is a bit relaxed, many are looking forward to crossing state borders in order to go back to their hometowns after being away from their families.
But not everyone is allowed to travel within states, because you’ll need to first register at a police station or on the Gerak Malaysia app.
Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) advises that if you’re driving from these regions you will have an entire day to make your trip as follows:
