Daily COVID-19 cases infections in Sabah are still high, recording 1,600 cases today and two news clusters.

The state’s COVID-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said new cases increased by 315 compared to Sunday (February 6th), with most districts recording a rise in new cases.
According to NST, he said in a statement that 1,587 cases are in Categories 1 and 2. There are eight cases in Category 3, five cases in Category 4 and no cases recorded in Category 5.
The two new clusters were the Giram cluster, detected in Giram Plantation Kunak, stemming from a 37-year-old man who started having symptoms including flu and cough on January 31st. Screening of his family and co-workers found 19 more cases.
The second cluster is the Jalan Pintas Sembulan cluster involving a group of students at the Maktab Sabah hotel.
Meanwhile, no deaths were reported today.
The number of COVID-19 infections have been increasing, so please do not be complacent, guys and remember to always follow the SOPs that have been set by the government!
