Marvel fans, DC’s time is now. Pos Malaysia Bhd has launched a series of Batman-themed stamps in conjunction with Batman’s 80th year!
The collaboration between Warner Brothers Consumer Products and DC comics comes in two sets of collectible stamps and is a limited edition series - means its extra special! You will have to fight both stamp collectors and Batman fans for this one.

There are only 8,000 sets available, going at RM 120 each. On top of that, there will be 40,000 special packs, each one containing a miniature sheet of three Batman stamps, a presentation pack with tear-off postcards, as well as a Batman-themed envelope to go along with it.
The first set of stamps consists of a folder with two sheets of perforated Batman stamps and one sheet with a “Batman 80 Years” logo stamp. There are also two souvenir covers with five stamps each as well as three Batman-themed postcards and a Dark Knight folder with special effects to give it that extra oomph. There aren’t your regular stamps, they are pretty special!

According to the New Straits Times, Pos Malaysia executive vice-president Schrene Goh hopes that the launch will encourage Batman fans, particularly the younger generation, to start collecting stamps.
“We hope this series can be added to their existing Batman collections like figurines, mugs, diaries and more,” said Goh.
The stamps are available in all post offices nationwide and also online at www.eziEmall.com.
