His caption read: “Chinese people always say that there are three saddest things in the world: a small child losing their parents, a young adult losing their spouse and a parent losing their child.
“It’s hard to watch, but it is definitely harder to bear. Uncle Ng is 78-years-old and Aunty Ng is 72. Both are not very healthy and Aunty Ng has a hearing problem. I can’t imagine the sadness and extreme pain of losing their only child just recently,” he said.
Steven said that they solely depend on their son to live. The son allegedly committed suicide due to financial problems after losing his source of income following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) last year.
After seeing the elderly couple, he then decided to help cover their living expenses for the rest of the year and additionally gave them RM1,000.

He added: “I will try my best to take care of Uncle and Aunty, and my office will help them apply for the state government’s monthly welfare assistance. My friends, please do not give up, no matter what. Hope is there and it will always be there.”
This is heartbreaking! We hope that Uncle and Aunty Ng are strong enough to go through this and we wish them well…
