Malaysia has seen a positive outcome of the Movement Control Order (MCO) for the past few weeks.
The number of new positive COVID-19 cases has gone down rapidly, and it is all thanks to our dedicated and hardworking frontliners.

According to BERNAMA, Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said that Malaysia has been recognised as among the top 5 countries in the world to have succeeded in controlling the outbreak.
During his press conference on Sunday (14 June), he said, “the public’s acceptance of the government’s actions have received recognition in a global survey, and Malaysia was ranked among the top 5 countries in the world with the highest public’s approval”.
“Today (14 June) marks the 89th day of the MCO, which we admit was difficult for all of us in the early stages, more so when the EMCO was implemented, which entails a total lockdown in certain areas, including closing down of some businesses and restricting movements.”

But due to the people’s sacrifices and willingness to help the frontliners in combating the pandemic by staying at home, Malaysia has successfully controlled the infection and flatten the curve.
Well done, frontliners and to you, too, Malaysians!
We did all this together, and we will continue to abide by the government’s SOPs to ensure that the COVID-19 virus is gone for good!
