MERCY Malaysia Is Providing Special Consultation For Frontliners Overwhelmed By The Pandemic

mercy malaysia is providing special consultation for frontliners overwhelmed by the pandemic

Our frontliners have been working tirelessly day and night to contain the spread of the coronavirus here in Malaysia, and that could take a toll on a person not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

With that, MERCY Malaysia is offering five fully-funded psychotherapy or consultation sessions to any and all frontliners that may be personally drained from the pandemic.

So whether you’re a police officer, in the armed forces, in the medical frontlines, an NGO worker, or even a media practitioner, MERCY Malaysia is reaching out to you.

Have you been taking care of yourself lately with the Covid-19 pandemic now under control? Remember those long hours...

The organisation explained that research has shown that many are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxious, mental stress, and dealing with death, as they are closely working with the patients and people who have been affected by this pandemic.

These consultation sessions are aimed at helping frontliners:

  • regain their social, occupational, and daily functioning.
  • prevent any mental health issues.
  • reduce the impact or distress of dealing with individuals who were affected by the pandemic.

So if you’ve been on the frontlines during this pandemic, or if you know someone who could use these sessions, you can make an appointment here.
