Contrary to reports, Kanye West is still very much gearing up for the 2020 US Presidential race.
This, after the rapper qualified to appear on the presidential ballot in Oklahoma, securing a spot on the final day before the deadline passed.
It seems Yeezy has filed all the necessary paperwork, so it looks like we could see him on the ballot in at least one state during November’s US election.
But while West has qualified for the ballot in Oklahoma, the deadline has already passed in many states, and it’s unclear if he is willing or able to collect enough signatures required to qualify in others.
The requirements that candidates need to meet in order to appear on presidential election ballots also varies by state.
News of West’s Oklahoma development came after a political committee named Kanye 2020 filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Kanye and his representatives have yet to comment on the latest developments, so we’ll just have to wait and see if hopeful President Ye is actually taking to the polls.
