YouTube cooking sensation S. Pavithra’s husband M. Sugu has been arrested, following allegations that he attacked her with a sickle yesterday (July 21st).
According to The Star, the incident occurred at a hospital in Ipoh, Perak, while Pavithra was visiting a relative who was in labour.
It seems the couple reportedly got into an argument because Pavithra didn’t mention his name when she accepted the “Ipoh City Icon” title from the mayor on Monday (July 20th).
Although the details as to what actually happened has yet to be confirmed, the Ipoh Magistrate’s Court has granted a three-day remand order for Sugu.
