Recently, a video of a fisherman rescuing a kitten that fell from a pole at Penang Bridge went viral!
It was believed that the kitten was thrown by an unknown individual.

The 18-seconds video was recorded by a fishing boat driver, Sobri Karim who said that he received a call from a fisherman on Tuesday (October 19th) at around 3:30pm to help bring the kitten to the Batu Uban fishing jetty.
“I was informed by the fisherman that a black kitten was found while he was fishing at around 2pm.
“The kitten was found swimming and struggling in the water, and he suspected that the kitten was thrown about 20 metres from the bridge. He then used one of his fishing net to help the kitten to shore,” he told Kosmo.

Sobri immediately rushed to the location where the kitten was found and brought it back safely to the fishing jetty.
He added that he was heartbroken and very upset as he did not think that anyone could be so cruel towards any animal.
We’re heartbroken, too! We’re glad that these kind men found the poor kitten and saved it.
