It’s better to stay indoors this coming two weeks since all parks will be closed anyway!
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) announced that all its public parks will be closed from 18-30 March 2020 to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
It announced the temporary closure on its official DBKL Facebook page today following the Movement Control Order that was issued by the PM’s yesterday, restricting the movements of Malaysians especially in places where there could be a potential mass gatherings and movements across the country. This includes religious, sports, social and cultural activities.
DBKL’s initiative has been applauded by many who commented on its Facebook posting, claiming it’s a step in the right direction.
We hope everyone will abide by the orders given and to restrict movements where necessary.
