You can now get a COVID-19 self-test saliva antigen rapid test kit for as low as RM4.90 each.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs minister assures that despite the lower price, the quality of the kits will not be compromised.

This will help ensure that more people can afford to screen themselves periodically, says Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
“It is now a necessity for every household to purchase the self-test kits due to the current coronavirus situation in the country.”
"With more economic sectors, schools and educational institutions now reopened, it is necessary for people to self-test periodically.”
The self-test kits are now also easily accessible as permission have been given by the ministry to allow more supermarkets and chain stores to sell authorised COVID-19 self-test kits.
To date, a total of 7,302 premises nationwide have been given the green light to sell self-test kits that have been approved by the Health Ministry and Medical Device Authority (MDA).
