Do you have an eye for sustainable art and design? Then here’s your chance to win up to RM8,000 and have a chance to see your design come to life!
Platinum Victory, Arkilab, iKoin and The Palette invite all artists, designers and architects to participate in the contest, “Paint the Town Green Award,” to showcase your creativity through sustainable art, landscape, architecture and interior design. These can be design murals, public spaces or anything you can think of that would make The Palette a better, greener social space. If you happen to be one of the 10 finalists, you will win a slice of the RM23,000 prize pool!
The contest is open to individuals aged 18 and above and groups of up to 5 participants. Architectural background is not necessary, so as long as you can fulfill the scope of work below, you’re eligible to participate!
Poised to be the city’s lakefront “ubercool” and “uberhip” commercial and social space, The Palette aims to be the prime spot to hangout and relax for Northeast KLites while emphasizing the importance of sustainability and environmental awareness among patrons. This is why sustainability is a major criterion in the contest, weighing 90% of the total evaluation.
You better bring your A game because the judges for this contest include Arkilab’s award-winning Façade and Interior Design Creative Director, Michael Gibert, founder of In Publisher and Creative Home X interior stylist, Iko In, as well as Hashim Design & Associates landscape architect, Nur Maihan.
