UNSW Global Presents International Students With World-Class Education Opportunities

For students leaving secondary school and beginning the transition to university, the TPO provides the opportunity to join a global community and study a bachelor’s degree in Australia, New Zealand or the UK in just 120 days.

Striving to increase access for international students to gain a leading university education, UNSW Global’s purpose-built online program, delivered by OpenLearning, prepares students to commence a bachelor’s degree at one of the program’s partner universities around the world.

Launched in early 2021, the 120-day program is delivered completely online, accommodating time zones and supported by dedicated Study Coaches and Teachers. Combining curriculum from UNSW, a world top 50 university, with OpenLearning’s innovative social learning platform, international students can now pursue global education and career opportunities. The program offers course streams including Commerce, Actuarial Studies, Life Science, Physical Science, and Design and Architecture.

In just 120-days, students who successfully complete the program through UNSW Global will have the opportunity to apply for a bachelor’s degree at leading universities around the world. The growing list of partner universities include:

With life-changing learning at the heart of the program, students enrolled from anywhere in the world will be supported and empowered to develop the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed at a partnering university through participation in specially developed courses.

The OpenLearning learning platform encourages students to connect with their learning journey and their peers, guiding them to develop the skills in independent learning and groupwork required for them to succeed at university. Throughout the program, students are supported by dedicated coaches to support them on their learning journey to ensure they are confident and prepared for the transition from high school to university.  

Purpose-built as an interactive online learning program, Transition Program Online has been designed to facilitate connection between students. The set-up of the program allows students to connect with their peers to work on group projects, as well as to talk socially and share ideas to allow for life-long friendships to be formed. Students who have completed the program say being able to make friends while studying online has enriched their learning experience.
