In a stunning new collaboration, Sony Pictures Malaysia is bringing this traditional art form into the spotlight with a modern twist, teaming up with acclaimed local artist Arif Rafhan to create an art series inspired by both the iconic Marvel character Venom and Malaysia’s beloved batik.
This collaboration celebrates the release of Venom: The Last Dance by fusing the dark, edgy visuals of Venom with the elegance of batik. The result is the Venom x Batik Inspired Art Series, where Arif Rafhan reimagines the notorious symbiote through intricate batik designs, blending the chaotic energy of Venom with the fluid forms and vibrant beauty of Malaysia’s textile heritage.
