This Man Has A Milo Gallery In His Home With Over 1,000 Items!

We all grew up with Milo, and let’s be honest, it is the only superior chocolate drink…

A 41-year-old superfan of the drink, Mohd Yusof Ali always associates the green and white colour of Milo’s logo with memories of his late father.

He told the Malay Mail: “I’ve been a Milo collector for 15 years. My interest began when I was a kid in the 1980s and suppliers used to drop off Milo at our store. We would always get free gifts with the delivery, like pencil boxes and water bottles.”

He added that he had a sense of nostalgia when he became an adult, so he started collecting Milo items and estimated that he owns around 90% of all the gifts and merchandise ever released by Milo since the brand ventured into the Malaysian market 70 years ago.

From old Milo tins to umbrellas, and he even has a rare kopitiam mug with the brand’s logo that first came out in the 1950s. Such an impressive collection!

He said that he often gets requests from other Milo enthusiasts from as far as Johor or Melaka who want to visit his home and view the gallery, “Sometimes I have friends from different states who stop by Klang and ask if they can come to my place and see my collection.”

“Whenever I have the time, I’ll make sure to invite them over,” he added.

Yusof also started a Facebook group for Malaysian Milo enthusiasts like him, where others, too, can show off their collections and exchange items with each other. The group managed to attract over 6 thousand members and it also helped him forge new friendships online!

He’s even lost track of how much he spent on all his Milo items over the years.

“I probably spent thousands on my collection but I don’t pay much attention to the numbers because some items, you can’t put a price on,” he said.

We didn’t know we needed a Milo museum until we saw his living room!
