WhatsApp is probably the most used messenger application available, worldwide.
We use it daily for school and for work. We use it for family group chats, to send funny stickers to our friends, and for our mothers to send us good morning quotes every single day.
… and if texting isn’t enough, users can also use WhatsApp’s easy video calling feature!

Though it is useful for us to communicate with those who are the closest to us, this quarantine period made all of us realise that talking on video calls limited to only four people isn’t enough!
But, no worries, that will soon change because according to WABeta Info, WhatsApp will soon be able to host up to 50 users in one video call by using a shortcut to Facebook Messenger Rooms!
50 people? How will that work?
If you want to call a group of fewer than 50 people, there will be an option that you can choose in the WhatsApp chat room
Then, you will be directed to Facebook Messenger Rooms to create a room
The chats in the invite-only room will be protection by its encryption and privacy controls
But what if your friends don’t use WhatsApp or have a Facebook account? Well, there’s no need to fret, they can still join in the fun by clicking on the link sent to them by you!
We’re not sure when this new feature will be available, since it is still being tested out by beta testers, but we hope that it will be available for us soon!
