M’sians Praise OAG Member, Radhi For Helping Woman Whose Car Broke Down During Traffic Jam

The feeling when you’re a woman driving alone and suddenly your car breaks down in the middle of the road... What do you do?!

Recently, a video went viral online showing a kind man helping a woman whose car broke down in the middle of a busy road.

But what caught netizens’ attention is that the man who was helping the woman is actually a famous singer who is in a band called OAG. 

In case you don’t know, OAG is a Malaysian pop and alternative rock band formed in 1992, and was one of the first English language alternative rock bands in Malaysia to get huge attention from mainstream music listeners. 

In the 2-minute video, uploaded in the DashCam Owners Malaysia Facebook page shows the singer running towards a woman whose car broke down in the middle of the road, during a traffic jam.

It is believed that the woman’s car had run out of battery while stopping at a traffic light, causing it to break down in the middle of the road. While she was trying to figure out what to do, a man can be seen running towards her car: “Eh, looks like Radhi from OAG” her caption reads. 

The man, who is one of OAG’s band members and lead vocalist, Radhi can be seen running towards the woman’s car, “Let me help you push. I’ll help you push,” he can be heard saying while knocking on the woman’s window. 

Radhi then walks to stand behind the woman’s car and starts pushing it all by himself under the hot scorching weather. Wah! 

Because of his help, both of them managed to move the car safely. 

Malaysians took to the comment section to praise the singer for his selfless act, “He’s not only helping the driver, but also other road users from getting stuck in a terrible traffic jam,” one person commented.

“It’s not easy to push a car all by yourself, especially when the weather’s hot like that. He’s not required to help her, but he did.”
