Recently, a video went viral on Twitter of a man who kindly prepares a meal for his Nepalese security guards.

In the video, a man is seen approaching two security guards and asking one of them what food that he’s been wanting to eat, “Something that you haven’t had in a very long time.”

“Nepali Momo,” the security guard replied, “I haven’t had Nepali Momo in three years.”

So, we did some Googling and reading and found out that Nepali Momo, inspired by the Tibetan dumplings, is a dumpling made of all-purpose flour and is filled with either meat or vegetables.

Apparently, it is a very popular Nepali street food! Looks yummy, too!

After getting the answer he needed, the man is then seen walking around a supermarket looking for ingredients to make the Nepali Momo. The video then transitioned to him making the dish, and even shared the recipe in the video.

He then brought the food the next day and gave it to the guard.

After tasting it, the guard praised the deliciousness of the food and did not think that it was cooked by the man. He was surprised when the man said that he did not buy the food.

The video has since garnered over 721,000 views at the time of writing.

Netizens took to the comment section praising the man for his effort in making other people’s day, “This is so wholesome! Food really does connect us.”

Some were even curious what Nepali Momo tastes like, “Looks delicious! I’m going to try to find this here, I’m so curious now!” one person commented.
