According to a report by Harian Metro, Hazri initially had no physical challenges. However, an incident on July 19th, 2022, changed his life forever when his left hand had to be amputated to prevent infection.
The hand was severely damaged and nearly severed when it got caught in the rim during a fall while riding as a pillion on his friend’s motorcycle from Felda Pasir Besar to Kem Syed Sirajuddin in Gemas.
Despite facing such a life-altering event, Hazri remains grateful for the immense support from his family and friends. He particularly acknowledges his wife for her exceptional understanding and unwavering assistance in caring for him since the beginning.
Currently serving actively with the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), Hazri plans to conclude his military tenure by next September. His determination and resilience have touched the hearts of netizens, as evidenced by the flood of supportive comments on the post.
