South Korean actor, Yoo Ah-in who is known for his role in 2016’s Descendants of the Sun and 2020’s Voice of Silence, is currently being investigated for his habitual use of drugs after testing positive for Marijuana.

On Friday (10 February), Korean news outlet, Hankook Ilbo reported that the actor, who is currently being investigated for illegally using the drug Propofol tested positive for Marijuana, however he tested negative for Propofol.
According to the article, a positive test indicates that the actor had most likely used marijuana. It also states that propofol leaves the system within four days.
The police have opened an investigation into the actor’s marijuana use as a result of the positive test result.
Yoo Ah-in earlier surprised the Korean entertainment industry after it was confirmed by his agency, UAA, that he was being investigated for illegally using Propofol.
“This is UAA. Yoo Ah-in was recently investigated by police in connection with Propofol.
“He is actively participating in all of the investigations related to this case, and we plan to intently explain the issues that may arise,” they said in a statement.
