It was also the last installment in Yasmin’s Orked trilogy, and a prequel to Sepet and Gubra.

14 years on, Mukhsin is making international headlines yet again, as it’s being screened at the very same event it made its world debut, the Tokyo International Film Festival.

But this time around, fans will be excited to know that the film has now been digitally restored in 4K HD under the supervision of Low Soon Keong, the Director of Photography for the film.

With that, cast members Aryana, Shafie and Aryana’s sister Sharifah Aleya, who played Mak Inom (Orked’s mother), will be joining a talk session “TIFF Talk Salon” this Friday (November 6th, 8:30 pm), where they will be sharing personal insights and stories about the film.

TIFF, accredited by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Association), will be held till November 9th, with screenings around theaters in Tokyo, together with symposia and international guest talks online.
