Music is a great remedy for almost anything, and in the case of Mojo Projects, they promise a fun experience at the fourth instalment of the Malaysian Independent Live Fusion Festival (MILFF2019).
Happening on 23 November 2019 at StarXpo, Kenanga Wholesale City, the evening promises to be one filled with fantastic music, lights, and a full blown concert experience showing some of India’s very best.
“Enjoying music is a cosmic connection with our self and natural enthusiasm,” says Mojo Projects chief executive officer, Ratna K Nadarajan. “That’s why we love, laugh or weep to songs. Like magic, with music we connect with each other. We remember what matters, and that is what we want to achieve with every Mojo concert,” he adds.
Keep your eyes peeled for a combination of local music and some Indian vibes when our own The Jagats open for India’s Nikhil Mathew. Hailing from Kerala, Nikhil was the first champion of Airtel Super Singer - all the way back in 2006. He got the chance to sing for Indian music director, Harris Jayaraj, for the film Bheema and has since recorded more than 30 songs for the film industry.
IndoSoul, featuring Neha Venugopal will also come on stage. Bringing together musicians from a variety of genres like rock and Carnatic, the complexity of sounds makes it a rather exciting experience. Also look out for Rajhesh Vaidhya & Band, who will be sharing the stage with two upcoming vocalists. One of them, Rajhesh, will attempt to perform 60 songs in 60 minutes to recreate an Asian Book of Records feat for the first time in Malaysia.
The versatile singer-songwriter and playback-singer, Shakthisree Gopalan, will also be showcasing some songs from Tamil film music and a number of original songs.
Haricharan and Shweta Mohan will be present as well to keep you dancing the night away as they sing along to Bennet and Band. If you are a fan of music, MILFF2019 is definitely the Indian music fest to attend!
