Local celebrity chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, better known as Chef Wan, recently put netizens in their place, after he received backlash on social media for posting a video of himself going swimming, in only his trunks.
The 62-year-old was not only criticised for not covering himself up (exposing his aurat), but he also ended up being body-shamed, with some comments saying he should cover up because he’s out of shape.

It wasn’t all hurtful comments though, Chef Wan’s fans had his back, telling him to just brush off this negativity.

Don’t let yourselves be put down by others. Be proud of who you are! Work it!
