We’re excited to share that Astro's urban Kids channel, TA-DAA! (CH 612) will be launching its First Family Comedy Originals from January 29th.
The science-fiction comedy series called Take CTRL touches on the parents and kids dynamic.
Urban parents in Malaysia tend to be very controlling of their kids as they want their kids to be the best of who they can be. Because of this, kids get “stressed up” being controlled by parents. We can relate!
In this series, the kids stumbled upon a mind-controlling mobile app game and they get a taste of what it feels like to take control of their parents. The series is filled with humour when the kids took control of their parents and will also include relatable family moments, unexpected twists, as well as positive life lessons at the end.
Starring Shaheizy Sam, Hana Nadira, Faiz Najib (Club Mickey Mouse) & Gabriel Pountney (Club Mickey Mouse), JinnyBoy, Jenn Chia (So,I’m Jenn) and more, it’s a bi-lingual series (English & BM) that would certainly appeal to Malaysians in general, across all races.
