Wonder what family-friendly content to watch this upcoming school holidays? You won’t run out of shows to watch on Astro GO and On Demand, that’s for sure.
Choose from 5 new kids channels, Astro Ceria, Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Even better, there are now original series for the lil ‘uns to look forward to - SMK will air on Astro Ceria on 30 November while Hello Pinkfong premieres on 23 November.
There will also be more than 50 exclusive programmes to watch on channels like Astro Ceria, all vernacular channels and international channels from 23 November onwards.
Children will be able to continue enjoying ‘Didi & Friends’, as well as “Omar & Hana”, both of which have fresh content to look forward to. On Thursdays, it’s gonna be popcorn time! Beginning with ‘Perisik Cilik’, ‘Misteri Krew: Harta Karun Jepun’ and ‘Ceria Megastar Ministar: Zap-In, parents might have to give children a little extra screen time now! On Saturdays, it gets even better because you can expect shows like ‘Madagascar 3’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1’ and more. Malay dubbed versions are also available.
On Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Mandarin animations ‘GG Bond: Dodgeball Legend’, ‘Pains of AU’ as well as a movie from China, ‘Legend of the Zodiac’ and Mandarin family game show, ‘Boom’ will be showing. Meanwhile, Astro Vaanavil promises plenty of engaging game shows and animations like‘Mottu Patlu’, ‘Kisna Movies’ and ‘Super Star Raja’.
That’s not all! Classics like “Dumbo” and “Avengers: Endgame” will be showing on FOX Movies while content like “Mickey Goes Local” and “SpongeBob SquarePants” will be on the other channels too.
It’s not all couch potato-ish stuff though. Astro also has some fun events lined up! Head over to Sunway Pyramid from 22-24 November to participate in the Astro GO GO GO event to meet and greet characters from ‘Pinkfong’, ‘Didi & Friends’, ‘BoBoiBoy’, ‘SpongeBob & Patrick’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Spiderman’ and more.
A joint project between Astro and Les Copaque will see our nation’s favourite twins, Upin & Ipin, at MITC, Malacca from 29 November-1 December for Karnival Upin & Ipin 2019. Meanwhile, families can check out Happy Castle Live Concert by Astro Xiao Tai Yang on 23-24 November at Dewan Sri Pinang, Pulau Pinang, and on 29 November-1 December at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
As for those who want to be a part of Pinkfong’s first cinema sing-along in Malaysia, there will be a special 65-minute sing-along show in over 30 cinemas nationwide, with 27 Pinkfong songs for children to sing along to!
