A woman was willing to pay $10,000 which is over RM40,000 for an “oxygen sculpture” that literally looks like nothing.

Okay, maybe we’re not the ones to judge because everyone has a different view of art. But not being able to actually see anything makes it 10 times more difficult for us to understand it.

In 2011, a woman, who does not want to be known publicly purchased the oxygen artwork named “Fresh Air” by James Franco. Yes, the actor.

And apparently, James’ artwork is only visible to him. Wow.

Other people will not be able to see the artwork as it is part of the ‘Museum of the Invisible Art’ project which elevates art to a whole new level. The concept is basically a work of art that exists only in the artists’ imagination and does not exist physically.

Hm….

So, if someone purchases the artwork, it will be delivered to them as a framed “card” - literally just white paper in a frame.

The woman who bought “Fresh Air” said that it was an exchange of thoughts and dreams between her and the artist.

Unique, but we wouldn’t spend RM40,000 for a white sheet of nothingness. What do you guys think of this?
