A TikTok user, @wawaeastkandar, recently shared a heartwarming video of an elderly man taking it upon himself to repair a pothole.

In the clip, the man is seen carrying what looks like a bag of sand before pouring it into the hole to smooth out the road. He continued working despite a light drizzle, determined to get the job done.
Once he had finished, he quietly returned to his car and drove away without waiting for thanks or recognition.
The simple act of kindness touched many online viewers. One person commented, “This person needs to be applauded for his efforts.” Another remarked, “What are the local authorities doing, letting people take over their jobs?”
