The couple, who was famously known on YouTube for their cooking videos, recently removed all the content on their channel which had over 786,000 subscribers.
They started their channel during the MCO and attracted the attention of netizens including national leaders such as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Prime Minister.
This comes after the Magistrate Court granted a three-day remand order against Pavithra’s husband, M. Sugu on Wednesday (22 July) for unlawful possession of a 26-inch sickle at the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun’s parking lot.
He was also charged for hitting his 28-year-old wife, Pavithra with a handphone and a sickle which caused injuries to her lips, left cheek and right arm.
In an interview with Harian Metro, Sugu said: “We deleted our cooking videos because we do not want to have any links to YouTube. There are other people on YouTube who can cook but why are we the centre of attention? Give us some time to focus on our family,”
We’re sad that we can’t enjoy their cooking videos anymore, but we genuinely hope that the couple will be patient in handling their personal issues.
