The incident involved a white MPV that reportedly experienced mechanical issues, causing a fire to break out at the front of the vehicle. Thick smoke began to rise, creating a dangerous situation for everyone nearby.
Without hesitation, a pump attendant rushed to grab a fire extinguisher and tackled the flames head-on. His prompt response not only stopped the fire from spreading to nearby fuel dispensers, but also ensured the safety of those present and helped minimise damage to the premises.
Eyewitnesses and netizens alike praised the employee’s calm under pressure, with many commending his bravery, “Not everyone would’ve had the guts to do what he did,” one person commented.
